Viewing Published Location Aware Social Activity Profiles With KMaps

KMaps makes it easy to meet people with the similar interests around you.

Viewing Local Social Activities Profiles in KMaps is easy. Since the Social Activity Profile in KMaps is always bound to the Location, you have to start with your location first. Let's say that you are sitting in a caffe and you want to view the local activity profiles published around you. Find the caffe using KMaps search first.

KMaps will come up with the results.

Select "Location Services" to enter Location Services Panel displaying the Location Services available for that address. Select "Notes Around This Place"

Select "Meet People".

Specify the radius of the area (in miles) around you that you want to collect the profiles from. You can also select "All" to see all published profiles regardless of location.

KMaps will come up with the list of the published profiles for the area you specified.

Select profile to read its full text.

If you are interested in the activity and want to contact the author of the profile, then you can send anonymous message to the author. Click "Send Message" to send Location Aware message to the author of the profile.

Your message will be completely anonymous. The author of the profile will only see the Nickname that you chose when writing the message. No other personal information is published with the message.
