Publishing Location Aware Social Activity Profile with KMaps is easy. Since the Social Activity Profile in KMaps is always Location Aware you have bind it to the specific location.

Use KMaps search to find the location that you want to bind your profile to. Location can be anything - your full home address, the address of a restaurant or a bar (e.g. if you want to meet people there), the street name within a city, just a zip code or city itself. Find the most specific location possible as it makes it easier for people to respond to your profile if they have a good sense of your location.

You can also specify the expiration date of your profile, for example make the profile active for just couple of days only. If you don't specify the expiration date then the profile will never expire and stay active all the time. The profiles with the expiration date will be automatically removed after the expiration period is over.

Let's say that you are sitting in a caffe and you want to look for other KMaps users. You can do so by publishing your Social Activity Profile on that location and set it to expire after some time.

Start by searching caffe address in KMaps.

KMaps will come up with the results.

Select "Location Services" from the menu. Select "Attach Note To This Place" Location Service.

Select "Meet People".

You will be presented with the screen to enter your Social Activity Profile. Enter your Nickname. Your Social Profile will be completely anonymous. The other people will see your Nickname only. No other personal information is published with your profile.

Enter one sentence summary of the activity and then the more specific description of what people you are looking to meet. Also, specify the expiration date of the profile. The profile will be automatically removed after the expiration date has passed.

Click "Publish" button to publish your profile.
