Finding and responding to Location Aware Classified Advertisements at KMaps Local Marketplace

Find your current location with KMaps first.

Select your current address when presented with the search results then enter Location Services for the selected address.

Select Local Marketplace Location Service.

Since you want to look for ads posted by the others you will then select "Buy" option.

Select the category in which you would like to search and the area around your current location from which you would like to collect classified advertisements in the selected category. You can also select "All Categories" to view local classified advertisements regardless of category, or, you can select to view all classified advertisements regardless of area.

KMaps will present a list of Location Aware Classified Advertisements that satisfies your category and area criteria.

Select classified advertisement and view its detail. Being Location Aware, classified advertisement is mappable and its address is selectable for directions and other KMaps Location Services that apply for the location of classified advertisement.

If you are interested in the content of classified advertisement, you can collaborate with publisher of classified advertisement by engaging into Location Aware Messaging With KMaps. Simply click on Message button to send anonymous message to the publisher of the classified advertisement. The publisher in turn may opt to respond to your message and so on.

Posting Location Aware Classified Advertisements to KMaps Local Marketplace

KMaps makes it easy to sell your stuff, rent your apartment and post things you would like to buy. In order to sell on KMaps Local Marketplace, you need to publish Location Aware Classified Advertisements. In other words, your Classified Advertisements is related to some location. Location can be as precise as you want it to be. You can attach Classified Advertisements to your home address, or just to your street, or to your zip code, even to you city. Attach your Classified Advertisements to a zip code is usually a good way to start. Find the location where your Classified Advertisements will be attached to first:

Select your current address when presented with the search results then enter Location Services for the selected address.

Select Local Marketplace Location Service.

Since you want to post ad you will then select "Sell" option.

Select the category in which you would like to publish Classified Advertisement, write summary and the full description of Advertisement. Hit "Publish" button and you are done. Your advertisement is completely anonymous. KMaps users interested in your post will be able to send you anonymous Location Aware Messages and you will be able to respond.
